

Car Poff’s TNT Wrestling Camps
Director Carl Poff
The TNT Wrestling Camps will be under the direction of former Lock Haven University Head Wrestling Coach Carl Poff. Coach Poff was instrumental in helping Lock Haven University become one of the premier wrestling programs in the nation. Under his guidance, LHU accumulated an overall record of 167-63-3. He coached LHU to four Pennsylvania Conference Championships. The six-time PSAC Coach of the Year and two-time EWL Coach of the Year also coached 80 national qualifiers, fourteen All-Americans, two national champions, 30 PSAC champions and 19 EWL champions.
Kutztown University
Team Camp Session I – July 26-30 • Session II – July 30-August 2 Junior & Senior High • Director Jamie Kota • Asst. Director Dave Williamson
The TNT Team Camp is designed for you and your team to gain the competitive edge for next season. Our junior and senior high team camps provide the opportunity to learn, compete and build team unity. The wrestlers gain valuable experience while your coaches and our staff evaluate and give instructional feedback. Numerous states are represented at this camp and the competition is considered outstanding.
This camp will enable you and your team to compete for conference and state championships.
Technique Camp
Session II – July 30-August 2 Junior & Senior High • Director Tom Martucci, NCAA Champion
The Technique Camp has been designed to provide the junior and senior high wrestler with state-of-the-art technique. This instruction will be provided by our world class staff. This camp will consist of learning, drilling, live drilling and wrestling. All drilling and wrestling will be supervised, analyzed and critiqued by the coaches and athletes who have used this system for their success both nationally and internationally. High percentage techniques will be taught in every position. This camp will also include lectures on nutrition, mental preparation, strength training and the importance of academic success.
This camp will prepare you to become a champion both on and off the mat.
Elementary Camp
Session II – July 30-August 2 Director Rob Fisher, Head Coach, Kutztown University
This camp is designed to build a solid foundation of wrestling in a fun environment.
Safe instruction on fundamentals and a positive approach to learning the sport will be emphasized. The benefits of this camp will provide the background for future success.
This camp is recommended for wrestlers between third and sixth grade.
Parent/Child Camp*
Session II – July 30-August 2 Director Rory McCoy
This camp is designed to teach wrestling technique and drills in a fun and enthusiastic environment. The parent/child experience will provide an opportunity to learn and appreciate the sport of wrestling. This unique camp provides a true partnership and a chance to meet new friends and coaches. All aspects of wrestling will be discussed and presented. There will also be special sessions for parents to discuss issues related to the sport.
* A trip to Dorney Park is included in the Parent/Child Camp.

The staff will consist of some of the finest high school and college coaches in the nation. Current college wrestlers will act as counselors. Everyone is chosen for their knowledge, ability to teach and positive attitude.

Discounts
A $25 discount will be awarded to anyone paying in full before April 1, 2009, a $20 discount will be awarded to anyone paying in full before May 1, 2009, and a $15 discount will be awarded if paying in full by June 1, 2009. Registration & Check Out
Session I: Registration will take place on the first day of camp from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Roommates will be assigned at registration. You may choose your roommate at that time. Check out will take place on the last day of camp from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. All campers must check out by
11 a.m. on the last day of camp. Transportation arrangements should be made accordingly. Session II: Registration will take place on the first day of camp from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Roommates will be assigned at registration. You may choose your roommate at that time. Check out will take place on the last day of camp from 11 a.m. to noon. All campers must check out by noon on the last day of camp. Transportation arrangements should be made accordingly.
Medical History Forms
Routine health care is provided by our sports medicine staff and certified athletic trainers. Medical emergencies and illnesses are referred to the local hospital. A medical history form will be sent upon receipt of your application. It is not required that campers be seen by a medical doctor to fill out the form.
Any camper failing to submit this form will be unable to participate in the camp.
Housing & Meals
Campers are housed in the University’s residence halls with supervision at all times. There are counselors and staff assigned to each floor.
All meals are served by the University’s dining service.
Rules
Campers are required to attend all sessions while at camp. Additional rules will be explained prior to the first session of camp. Anyone not adhering to the rules will be sent home without a refund. The TNT Wrestling Camps are not responsible for any expenses due to loss or damage to personal property. We urge campers not to bring valuables to camp.
